Corporate responsibility

At Exploristics, we take our corporate responsibility seriously. As a company we are passionate advocates of the far-reaching benefits of pursuing a career in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM). To support this, we reach back out into the community via our STEM ambassadors. These are team members who visit local primary and secondary schools to discuss the wonders and value of studying STEM, providing tangible role models. We also provide sponsorship for higher education STEM societies such as PAMSoc at Queen’s University, Belfast and attend careers events at both Queen’s and Ulster University. More widely, we seek to play our part in the ongoing dialogue on equality, diversity and inclusion in STEM through our involvement with the Diversity Mark and WISE campaign, as well as through our STEM Stories blog series which provides a platform for our teams to share key aspects of their personal career journeys.

Giving back through chosen charities also plays a prominent role in Exploristics life. In addition to being able to opt into a give as you earn payroll giving scheme, each year our teams select a charity for which they organise and hold regular fundraising events. This year our chosen charity is the Mental Health Foundation.

Flexibility and an open mind

Importantly, we like to keep an open mind and ask our teams for regular feedback and suggestions on how to improve their working environment. In this way, we hope that together we can build a thriving and fairer workplace for everyone.
